EWMC - Electrical Workers Minority Caucus
The Greater St. Louis EWMC is in conjunction with IBEW Locals 1, 4, 309, 1439, and 1455. They represent all IBEW members and encourage minorities to become activist within their own communities and leaders within the IBEW.
Women's Committee
IBEW Local 1439’s Women’s Committee is design to help foster engagement and help with issues our Sister’s in the Local have. The Women’s Committee meets on the second Wednesday of every month.
RENEW - Reach out and Engage Next-gen Electrical Workers
RENEW is an IBEW initiative designed to inspire, educate, and activate young members (typically aged 35 and under) to become involved in their local unions and the labor movement. It focuses on leadership development, community service, and mentorship
RETIREES
The Retiree Committee meets on the third Thursday of the even months. All meetings will start at 11 a.m. and be held at IBEW Local 1439 unless otherwise notified. The December meeting will be held one hour before the Local 1439 Christmas Party.
